PBS Frontline: Ghosts of Rwanda

"Ghosts of Rwanda" a special two-hour documentary to mark the 10th anniversary of the Rwandan genocide--a state sponsored massacre in which some 800,000 Rwandans were methodically hunted down and murdered by Hutu extremists. The program examines the social, political, and diplomatic failure that converged to enable the genocide to occur. Through interviews with key government officials and diplomats such, "Ghosts of Rwanda" presents ground-breaking, first hand accounts of the genocide from those who lived it.

The fourth episode, “Corruption”, tells the story of the widespread corruption by SS officers at Auschwitz, taking valuables from the bodies of those gassed and having affairs with prisoners, and the even more corrupt way in which this was handled.

The history of the Final Solution phase of the Nazi Holocaust, particularly within the most infamous of the death camps. The fifth espisode, “Frenzied Killing”, shows us that as the scale of the fight heated up, so did the killing, with the entrance of Adolf Eichmann into Hungary and the liquidation of the gypsy camp at Auschwitz.
